Bringing Testing to Students
The Philadelphia High School STD Screening Program (PHSSP) meets Philly’s young people where they are, to offer free STD testing and treatment.
The program has three main goals:
- Identify and treat chlamydia and gonorrhea among high schoolers.
- Educate students about STDs and risk factors.
- Reduce risky sexual behaviors.
We visit each Philadelphia public school to give a presentation on STDs and hand out test kits.
All testing is totally voluntary, and your information is kept anonymous. We’re only here to try to keep Philly students healthy.
